Changing Tracks: Davide Barbieri
- Published in Changing Tracks
When Davide Barbieri was 12 years old he entered the world of cigarettes, alcohol, and marijuana. By age 14 he started to inject himself with heroin to kill the pain he experienced from the violence he received at home. This led him to steal, first from individuals and later on, from banks, and to smuggle drugs on an international level. As even this did not fill his emptiness, he attempted suicide 5 times, fortunately with no success. Homeless, a train station became his abode at night. When he was in a pitiful state, he met the Cénaculo Community and experienced the strength of God's love for him that changed his life.
