Changing Tracks: Shannon Loughrey

Shannon was born into a Catholic home, but her faith was not deep. Apart from going to Mass on Sundays, her family did not deepen in their faith. Without a relationship with Jesus, as she grew older, Shannon's faith stayed as a merely “social faith”. She became angry with Jesus when her cousin passed away despite her prayers for him, and consequently turned away from Him. When Shannon began university, she began to feel a deep sense of loneliness that brought her to the brink of depression. It was in this moment that Shannon encountered the Lord anew and experienced a real need to go to Mass and the sacraments to return to the life of grace. Discover her whole story in “Changing Tracks”.

How can I help?

Thanks to the generosity of our benefactors, up until now we have been able to continue our evangelization through the media. The needs, however, are growing and many times there are unexpected expenses due to maintenance, the purchasing of new machines, etc.
