“From the Darkness to the Light” is the experience in many lives transformed by God’s intervention, causing them to begin “Changing Tracks.” Although they come from different backgrounds and their conversions have taken place among differing circumstances, they all give thanks to Jesus Christ for having come to find them. They thank Him for having given meaning to their lives, for curing their deep wounds, for giving them happiness and for filling them with love. Come on board this train and let yourself be guided by their stories so that you can also begin “Changing Tracks.”

Changing Tracks: Mairead Bernal

Mairead Bernal was born into a Catholic family in Ireland. However, at a very young age she left the Church and chose the path of New Age and yoga. One evening, she felt inspired to watch the DVD of Marino Restrepo's testimony; it changed her life completely. The veil that had been blinding her was lifted, and she discovered the beauty and joy of the Catholic Faith, especially in the sacraments of confession and matrimony.

Changing Tracks: don Elvir Tabaković

Discover the passionate story of don Elvir Tabaković. Before, his life was extreme sports, trips around Europe on his Vespa, his dream job as a photographer at sport events and cars--everything you could ever want to be happy in this life. Nonetheless, his heart longed to be filled. Find out how his mother's prayers, a retreat and a Confession make him rethink his life. His life takes a U-turn, and he goes from atheist to Canon Regular of St. Augustine, Congregation of Windesheim.

Changing Tracks: Stephen Hambleton

Stephen Hambleton began using marijuana as a teenager. For this and other reasons, his mother kicked him out of the house, and he plunged headlong into a life of debauchery. At a party he met a girl with whom, shortly after, he got married in a registry office. Her thirst for God was the beginning of a new life for Stephen.

Changing Tracks: Sean Bailey (Part 2)

Sean Bailey is back with us to finish telling his story. While volunteering at a conference about the apparitions of Medjugorje, Our Lady touched his heart, showing her love for him. His tears turned to joy, such a big change that his friends almost didn’t even recognise him. This began his conversion, but it wasn’t easy… He had to confess everything to those he'd hurt, and only from the faith could he turn his life around and advance on the right path.

Changing Tracks: Sean Bailey (Part 1)

Sean Bailey was born in a typical Catholic family in Ireland. Growing up, he fell away from the Faith and started to live a worldly life, having a good time with alcohol and women. After he got married, he fell back into his old lifestyle behind his wife's back. When they were moving house, his wife discovered Sean's double life. To be continued...

Changing Tracks: Christel Marie-Martin (part 2)

In the second episode of this two-part story, Christel tells us how the more she discovered about the Catholic faith, the more she grew interested in it. Every new thing she discovered was another reason to believe, until she finally began to have catechism classes to enter the Catholic Church. She also shares with us how, upon finally being able to receive the Eucharist, she felt how the Lord begin to transform her.
