"In the Footsteps of the Nazarene" lifts the veil that much of Western mass media uses to cover the violent persecution that Christian communities suffer in many parts of the world. "In the Footsteps of the Nazarene" is not led by hearsay. To make this program possible, EUK Mamie Foundation - HM Television search for witnesses who are suffering first-hand persecution simply for being Christians.

Naeem Ayub Shoshandy, an Iraqi priest originally from Qaraqosh, one of the largest Christian populations on the Nineveh Plain, Iraq. He tells us the dramatic story of how Christians in this area were forced to flee their homes, without any previous notice, one day in August. They were obliged to choose between exile or death if they refused to deny their faith in Christ.
