Praying with Mary: Rosi Shields

The Rosary helps young Rosi Shields in her in life. She meditates on the sufferings of Christ and Mary, and then applies what she has meditated to her life. The daily Rosary helps her on her walk of faith, and maintains her family united in their goal, Heaven.

Praying with Mary: Br. Peter Heiskell

Br. Peter Heiskell is a Marianist and presents himself as a child of Mary. Throughout his life he has learned that, although he doesn't feel prepared to pray the Rosary, he can always make an act of faith, and the Holy Spirit will work through that act of faith.

Praying with Mary: Cristi Shields

Cristi Shields, mother of a large family, is convinced that praying the rosary together every day has truly united her family. The close relationship she and her children have with Our Lady has also become a witness for other families.

Praying the Rosary helps Max Carson, an American seminarian, orient his mind and heart towards the Blessed Mother and towards Her Son, Jesus. He overcomes distractions by speaking with Our Lady as he would with his own mother, full of love and trust.

This week on "Praying with Mary" you can meet Lily Arama, a young woman from the United States, who has rediscovered Our Lady as her Mother. Now Lily experiences gratitude towards her, seeing that Mary has never left her and has kept her from falling into evil on many occasions. Praying the Rosary, understanding it, having intentions, offering it...have made Lily grow in discipline and love, making each Hail Mary into a different prayer.
