HM Television presents "The Passion of Saint Joan of Arc", a documentary produced on the occasion of the centennial of the canonization of "La Pucelle", celebrated May 16, 2020. The documentary presents the life and unique mission of this courageous young woman who was much more than just a national heroine. She is, in fact, the saint destined to restore France to its true King and Lord, Jesus Christ. She lived through tough times like our own. The greatest lesson Saint Joan of Arc offers us is that it is God alone who guides history in the past, present, and future, and only He can prepare a soul to carry out such an extraordinary mission capable of changing the course of history overnight. This is precisely what happened in the life of Saint Joan of Arc.
The Passion of Saint Joan of Arc is presented by Javier Paredes, Professor of Modern History. The documentary also features contributions from: His Excellency Marc Aillet, Bishop of Bayonne (France); Sr. Marie de la Sagesse, author of “Santa Juana de Arco. Virgen, Reina, Mártir”; Alain Olivier, President of the Our Lady of Bermont Association (France); Philippe de Villiers, Founder of “Puy du Fou” Theme Park; Margarita Torres, Professor of Medieval History; Fr. Jacques Olivier, Author of Prophéties et prédictions de Jeanne d’Arc; Jorge Fernández, Former Internal Affairs Minister (Spain); Jacques Tremolet de Villers, Lawyer and author of Jeanna D’Arc: le procès de Rouen.
