Despite having been born and raised in a Catholic family, Coleman felt that his relationship with the Lord was on and off. On missionary trips with the Legion of Mary he would feel close to God but upon returning he would turn his focus back to the everyday happenings with college and work. He realized that he needed time to grow in his relationship with the Lord and it was thanks to having entered into Holy Family Mission and having daily Rosary, Mass and adoration that he has come to a closer and more intimate relationship with the Lord.
