“From the Darkness to the Light” is the experience in many lives transformed by God’s intervention, causing them to begin “Changing Tracks.” Although they come from different backgrounds and their conversions have taken place among differing circumstances, they all give thanks to Jesus Christ for having come to find them. They thank Him for having given meaning to their lives, for curing their deep wounds, for giving them happiness and for filling them with love. Come on board this train and let yourself be guided by their stories so that you can also begin “Changing Tracks.”

Changing Tracks: Dana Becker

From rock concerts and purple hair to finding the Lord at World Youth Day in Madrid, 2011... Dana Becker and her siblings received a solid Catholic foundation from their mom. They were homeschooled growing up, but Dana began to rebel in high school in an attempt to shake her "homeschool" image. Changing Tracks: Sr. Rachel Newton, S.H.M.

When it was time to pick a college, she chose the one closest to the beach and the furthest away from home. Little did she know that it was the first step toward leaving behind her empty and sad lifestyle and starting a new, meaningful and happy life. But how did she go from rebellious to religious? Check it out in this week´s "Changing Tracks."

Changing Tracks: Kileen Willis

Kileen has three older sisters who have played a great role her in life and in her faith. In middle school, she began the search for true beauty and had an immense desire to be beautiful and to feel wanted and sought after. She carried this struggle into high school where she had to defend her purity with the help of her sisters. Yet it wasn´t until the Lord led her to Peru, where she encountered Christ in the Eucharist and in an old man with bleeding feet, that she discovered what she was searching for. Check out this week´s episode of Changing Tracks.

Changing Tracks: Jenna Willis

Jenna is from Colorado and grew up in a Catholic family. Her faith was tried for the first time when her uncle committed suicide. Throughout this difficult trial, Jenna witnessed her family live out the faith that she had learned from her Catholic education. But it wasn't until she went to Peru on a mission trip that she realized that being Catholic means having a personal relationship with God. Check out this week's episode of Changing Tracks and hear how Jenna learned to persevere in her faith throughout the "ups and downs" of life.

Changing Tracks: Sr. Karen McMahon, S.H.M.

Although Sr. Karen grew up in Catholic Ireland, she lived a life far from God. "Why am I here?" "What's my purpose in life?" She unsuccessfully searched for the answers to these questions and, therefore, attempted to drown them out. When she graduated from high school at 16 years old, she began to work in order to pay for her crazy lifestyle of alcohol, cars, and motorcycles. Her conversion would finally come when she was 24 years old. Tune in to Changing Tracks and hear Sr. Karen tell her story, a testimony of the mercy of God.
